Maryland Task Force One is a federally sponsored Urban Search and Rescue team.  The team is based in Rockville, Maryland - Montgomery County.  The team consists firefighters, paramedics, physicians, structural engineers, and other personnel who are trained to help mitigate disasters, both man made and natural.
